
Philbert Lui is a director, editor and blogger based in Toronto. Awards he has won include Toronto Youth Shorts Film Festival's T24 Visual Thesis Award for S2 (2011) and Spectator Awards (2010) for PEEL ME and EXPERT.ORDINARY (2010), as well as One Minute Film & Video Festival's Best Comedy (2011) award for I DON'T GET OUT MUCH (v.2).
Philbert graduated from Film & Communication Studies double-major program at York University.
He most recently produced a video for a video contest with TD Bank and is was a member of Reel Asian International Film Festival's marketing team. Philbert is currently working at the Sony Centre of Performing Arts.
Philbert is also the co-founder of The Banana Times, an online cultural newspaper.
